VIDEO: Police Fire Teargas at Bahrain Protestors

20 April 2012 - BAHRAIN - On Friday, after thousands of Bahrainis marched peacefully in a legal protest near a popular mall, government forces descended on protestors with flash grenades and teargas just a 10-15 minute drive from the international Formula One race. Despite government assurances the tiny Arabian Gulf kingdom is calm, violent crackdowns continue.

Bahrainis protested on Friday afternoon with signs, slogans, chants and children as thousands of men and women marched parallel to each other on a main road. As the march came to a close, sounds of flash grenades and teargas fire thundered through the air.

(At end of the march, after clashes started, moved to mall where videos were filmed from the third floor window)
