    Occupy Hanford Rally ~ Octogenarian Dorli Rainey ~ April 15, 2012

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     rosehips says she has been a part of OWS since she first heard about it and actively participated in marches in several states across the U.S. The speaker in the video is activist Dorli Rainey who spoke at the rally at the Hanford Reservation. 'It was truly a memorable time with a personal hero of mine,' she says.

    I had the thrill to hear 84-year old Seattle activist Dorli Rainey at the Occupy Hanford rally organized by Occupy Portland in Richland, WA on April 15. She was a media sensation after being pepper-sprayed by Seattle police at an Occupy event back in November. Dorli is an inspiration to environmentalists everywhere and I was thrilled to speak with her briefly. She even bought a tee shirt from me.
