    Tax Day March, Boston

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     gvmiii captured this iReport in the downtown financial district in Boston. He says there were several groups including Occupy Boston, City Life and Moveon.org that were involved in the Tax Day protest. 'There were two issues they were addressing,' he says. 'They wanted the one percent to pay their fair share in taxes, and they were protesting the ways corporations got away with paying low tax rates using loopholes.' He says he does believe there is an issue with corporations paying low tax rates compared to individual Americans who pay nearly 35 percent in income tax rates. 'My perspective is if we have a severe financial crunch in this country where cities are going bankrupt, and yet large companies are paying little to no taxes, it seems kind of odd to me,' he says.

Occupy Boston, Mass Uniting, City Life, Moveon.org and other groups marched to protest preferential tax treatment for large corporations, and to call on the 1% to pay their "fair share" of taxes
