    Lightning Storm over Pensacola, FL

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     JamesAmerson captured this iReport on April 2. He set his camera on a tripod and took still images of the storm raging over the Pensacola bay. 'It was almost as active as it seems,' he says about the storm. 'It was one of those lighting storms that happened to spark lighting every few seconds.'

    In celebration of Earth Week, I stitched a series of photos I took the night of 04.02.12. It was quite the lightning storm over Pensacola, FL as seen from across Escambia Bay. Even at night, we have the best view in the house here in Garcon Point.
