    April snow in Skaneateles NY

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     unclaimed says when he woke up this morning there was around five inches of snow outside his home in Skaneateles, New York. 'I was in shock. My dogs went into the backyard this morning, I think they were also shocked,' he says. He says snow this time of year is not typical. 'Earlier today the branches on the trees that line the streets were so low that cars had to avoid them, they were being weighed down by the snow,' he says. He says the weather is starting to warm up and the snow is quickly melting away. 'Little by little the branches are slowly creeping back up as the snow melts away,' he says.
