    Severe weather

Snowstorms 6 months apart in Penfield, PA

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ReneeKorney shot these photos on April 23 of unseasonably severe snowfall in central Pennsylvania. 'At 8 this morning, we had 5-6 inches,' she said. 'I haven't been able to measure in a while. Road conditions have varied greatly all day. All of the local schools and several businesses are closed due to the threat of continuing snow and/or freezing.'
    - jmsaba, CNN iReport producer

We started the season with 6+ inches of snow on our mountain on October 29 and woke up to approximately 6 inches this morning (April 23) with very little of the white stuff in between!!
