Black smith Alice Springs Australia
I talked to Prince Charles and lady Diana for 25 minutes at the telegraph station, i was at the time the black smith,i was 22 years old at the time now i am 51 years old, Prince charles asked me a lot of questions about the black smith shop and the old Alice Springs telegraph station, Lady Diana was very shy and did not say much, but i remember thinking how beautiful lady Diana was,
I said to Prince Charles how i admired his mum about her knowledge on horses knowing most breeds of horses world wide and how very good at riding she is. Prince Charles said mama is an exceptionally good horse person. Prince Charles asked were i was trained to be a farrier and black smith. At Muresk agricultural College and trained by Ruel darling Master farrier of America for three years i meet Ruel darling in 1982, we Prince Charles and i talked about other items and then he said we have to go now and have a good season and i said see you later mate, a split second after i said that, i said to myself please tell me i just dident just say that to Prince Charles and Lady Diana i just stood there waving back at them with a smile on my face. After they had gone the N.T. Minister came up to me and said you were only to talk to Prince Charles and Lady Diana for five minutes, you talked to them for over 25 minutes, well i said they liked me better than you mob.
