    Snow in Sherman NY

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Franklin says the snow in his area is wet and thick, and it is the kind of snow that cannot be cleared with a snow plow because it sticks to everything. 'The problem is the snow is weighing down the branches, and the trees,' he says. 'We are lucky we had not lost power.' He says while digging out his porch he could hear the sound of branches breaking from within the woods. 'I was out back and I could just hear them snapping,' he says.

    This was taken at 3:30 eastern time in my back yard. 6  inches of heavy wet snow and still coming down
