The Annual American Red Cross Red Tie Gala was an oustanding success in Santa Monica at the luxurious Fairmont Miramar Hotel. This years honorees were Jamie Lee Curtis, Denis Leary, and the inspirational war hero J. R. There was not a dry eye in the house as guests watched the video reel of his journey. J.R attended with his 9 months stunning pregnant girlfriend Diane Gonzalez-Jones, (it's a girl!).

In addition, she has promoted the Red Cross during several recent international disasters, encouraging Americans to donate time, blood and money following the Haiti earthquake, as well as last year’s Japan earthquake and tsunami. She leads by example by doing all three.

The event also included a VIP reception where Red Tie-tinis were drank (KROL vodka with Honest Ade Pomgranate, CEO Philip Krol attended the event) Red Cross favorite ONEHOPE wine (owners Jake Kloberdanz and Tom Leahy were in attendance) and smartwater. A casino provided pre dinner fun, live music, and silent and live auction items were a huge hit and fundraising vehicle. A six foot stunning sculpture by renown artist Cybele Rowe was certainly a room stopper. Loyal corporate sponsors including Electrolux, Southern Cal Edison, Wells fargo, Mattel, Grainger, Occidental Pretoleum Corp, WESSCO WME Entertainment and Sempra all supported the event which raised a staggering $500 thousand dollars!
Guests left clutching terrific gift bags containing a Nick Stellino cook book, Heirloom Coffee, who created their own Red Tie blend, Art of Shaving gift cards, The Honest Co beauty products, Vita Coco, Club Penguin toys, Sparitual nail polish, C& H sugar, and Davinci pasta.
