The Mind-boggling Duck Embryo (the missing photos)

Note : These are the missing photos of the previous report.

A balut is a 3-week fertilized duck embryo that is boiled and eaten in the shell. This is common everyday food among Filipinos and mostly sold by street vendor in the Philippines. Many people here believed that this food is an aphrodisiac and considered a high-protein and hearty snack.

Adding salt and vinegar on it is the best way to eat this exotic food. Some people preferred eating this in a dark room to avoid looking at the embryo.

Few people find this yucky but many say yummy.
