Sports, Education, Society - what are we teaching our youth!

    See the Article below -

Sports and athletics are an important classroom where student athletes learn life lessons that make them positive contributors to our society.

Beyond the obvious issues of coaches being asked to leave and parents getting involved with playing time, This situation highlights the greater problems that our society and our education system faces. Namely, teaching our youth to solve problems and deal with disappointment, and failure; Providing jobs based on Seniority not Merit; Having Administrators/govm't leaders that don't make the tough decisions and who don't stand up for their employees/constituents.

Rahm Emanual touched on some of these very points in his interview with Piers last night.

Would love to hear how the rest of the country feels about the issues raised in this story.
