Nudibranch Capital of the World
If it were up to me to choose the "national animal" that made it on our bank notes, I'd go ahead and pick the tiny sea slugs that litter our oceans -- nudibranchs. These colorful slugs come in various shapes and patterns and are one of the most prized photo finds for underwater photographers.
Nudibranchs are perhaps the most colorful critters you can find in our oceans and the Philippines has the highest species count in the entire world. These nudibranchs are found all over our waters but the highest concentration is in the hotspot of Anilao. In every dive, you're sure to find at least 2-3 of these slugs scattered across the reefs.
