    ZANZIBAR AND TANGANYIKA UNION

    Today is 26 April the same day two countries were united 48 years ago in 1964.

    While the mainland part celebrating it, the zanzibari on the islands gathered for NO to it and saying "HATUUTAKI MUUNGANO" means "WE DONT WANT UNION"
