    Farewell Enterprise

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     'I have been interested in the space program all my life and am proud to say I was lucky enough to work for NASA when I was younger,' says fuzzface00. 'I first saw Enterprise during the flight tests in August 1977. I needed to see her one more time before she went to New York. I am a bit sad to see her go, but I look forward to visiting Discovery here in Virginia and Enterprise in her new home in New York.'

    Standing near the end of Washington Dulles runway 30, the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft and Orbiter Enterprise roared over my head Friday morning on her way to John F. Kennedy airport in New York City.
