Shuttle Enterprise Fly-By Hudson River NYC
CNN iReporter, Shaky Jones: Reporting on the arrival of The Space Shuttle Enterprise over the skies of New York on April 27, 2012. Enterprise did a fly-over, over the Hudson River and its new home at The Intrepid Museum at 42nd St. & The Hudson River. The West side of Manhattan late this morning was abuzz with people asking when the Enterprise would be flying over, and some people filled with their own Space Shuttle memories. Some just wanting to see this beautiful bird in the sky as they had only seen them on television screens. With all the cheering it seems as though they weren't disappointed. Although the weather this morning was quite windy the skies were blue and clear, ideal for saluting a Star!
