This iReport is part of an assignment:
Earthquake Mag 4.1 Jolts Southern California
We were awoken by a sharp jolt and then a shaking motion at 8:00AM here in Southern California's Reche Canyon, about 60 miles east of Los Angeles.
The Quake was centered about 10 miles north of here in Devore. This is near the San Andreas and the San Jacinto Fault Zones.
No Damage or injuries are reported so far. This is yet another reminder that we need to be ready for the next "Big One" here in earthquake country.
Roberta and I both jumped out of bed as the shaking continued.
Ok, now it's back to bed! Not a foreshock to a larger event we hope!
Story by CNN Ireporters Al & Roberta Mealey.
