    Student Protest Montreal 4-27-12

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     mwjackso and his wife are currently on their honeymoon in Canada; they noticed the protest happening outside the window of their hotel room. He says these student protests have been taking place for eleven weeks. These students are protesting against widespread tuition increases, which he supports as 'student debt is a major economic hurdle to success in current economic times.'

He says the protest lasted about two hours until it was declared illegal by police after students began to throw stones at the police. 'The protests have turned violent due to government inaction.'
