Occupy Wall Street: A Union Member’s View

Union worker, Paul Armstrong, dressed in his iron worker uniform, carried a sign at the Occupy Wall Street demonstration in Liberty Park saying, “I am union, I vote, I am pissed, so I am here.”
The Wall Street protest began on September 17th in New York City. The protesters say they are unhappy with the economy’s inequalities.
“Those rich people are privileged and they can buy everything, including the politicians,” Armstrong said. He also said he has a right to stay at the Liberty Park because of freedom of speech.
“I believe the middle class is falling into poverty, and it is not right what is happening in America… Americans want jobs.” Armstrong shouted, “I am going to stay here until I get arrested."
