It's almost Mother's Day, & when my mom told me that I should submit a story to CNN news I wasn't sure if I should do it. The video that I have attached to this report is one I made for her, for her birthday a few weeks ago. My Mom has been through a lot, but at the end of teh day she is always there for me. All of my friends always tell me how lucky I am to have such a wonderful mother. For about 5 years my mom was a single mother, yet she always put my brother & I first. She's always wanted the best for us, and I'm willing to try my best at everything just so she'll be proud of me. She's now married to my great step-dad, Alan, & I've never seen her happier. Like any mother daughter relationship, we sometimes fight. Most of the time we're dancing like weirdos to music in the kitchen, or laughing our butts off at a funny dinner conversation. My mom is a beautiful, wonderful, amazing, hard-working person. Not only is she my mother, but she's also my best friend. I love you Mommy, Happy Mother's Day.♥
