    Conocer y aprovechar para conservar, México como centro de origen indiscutible del Maíz tiene la obligación de conservar las variedades criollas ampliamente distribuidas en cada rincón, en cada huerto familiar que hoy corren el riesgo de ser contaminados por variedades modificadas, si permitimos que esto suceda ponemos en juego nuestra seguridad y completa dependencia alimentaria. Seamos conscientes y difundamos la importancia de conservar cada especie domestica o silvestre que ocupa un espacio en este maravilloso grandioso país.
