What makes mother's day special to me? It is the thought that...
Of God's many designs...he got one thing definitely right - EVE.
They are our sisters, our aunts, nieces, girlfriend - Your Mother.
Women unlike the opposite have not started world wars. Women have the instinct to preserve. No mother, if given the choice, will have their sons or daughters go off to battle and possibly lose their lives.
The picture you see here are the two matriarchal pillars of both sides of the family. My grandmothers. In the Filipino culture, mothers are the 'light' of the family. My grandmas fulfilled those roles till the day they moved on. May they rest well and look upon their many decendants.
- Sadly, I cannot understand why in certain cultures women are not given equal standing as men. And that's putting it lightly.
