Ten writing fellows were selected for the 2nd Albay Writers' Workshop last April 26-27, 2012 at Bicol University, Tabaco Campus, Tayhi, Tabaco City, Albay. The said local writing workshop has brought award-winning authors who critiqued the works of the ten fellows. It helped local young writers to improve their writing skills, enhanced their ability of criticizing different pieces of writing, encouraged them to feel confident in discussing their literary piece, and spread rays of light to their minds to see how essential writing is for a third world country like the Philippines.
