Pacman, richest PHL congressman
This report was confirmed by Atty. Ricardo Bering, director of records management service of the House of Representatives, on Monday night.
Bering said this was based on the Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) filed by the Pacquiao camp in Congress in conjunction with today's deadline for government officials to file SALN.
Pacquiao’s over P1 billion net worth was the highest compared to the SALNs filed this year by his colleagues in Congress.
However, Bering refused to give details on the content of Pacquiao’s SALN, saying it requires permission from the camp of the lawmaker.
Pacquiao’s 2011 SALN is higher compared to his 2010 SALN that reached P1.13 billion.
