The Shrine of Valor: Mt. Samat

The Shrine was built in 1966 in memory of the Filipino and American soldiers who fought and lost their lives in the Battle of Bataan during World War II.

It is located on the summit of the mountain in the Province of Bataan, with an elevation of approximately 1640 feet above sea level.

The memorial cross has a lift and a viewing gallery. The park includes a war museum with collections of armaments used during the battle.

Mt. Samat is a masterpiece of architecture and history.
