    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     notary01 shot these photos and video of Occupy protesters encamped at the vacant San Francisco Archdiocese building as part of nationwide May Day demonstrations. 'The Occupy SF group was jubilant they succeeded in taking over the building,' he said. The iReporter describes it as 'another notch in the Occupy SF belt.'

    Occupy San Francisco: May Day 2012

     

    Tuesday, May 01, 2012
    San Francisco, California -- Occupy SF protesters marched from Market street
    to the corner of Turk street and Gough street shortly before 3 P. M. today.

     

    Their mission was to take over a structure owned by the Archdiocese of San
    Francisco, at 888 Turk street. This was the same building taken over by the
    Occupiers last April 01, 2012.

     

    At around 5 P. M. a little birdie told me to get out of dodge, or be subjected to
    possible tear gas.
