Religion is a choice, homosexuality is not. America was founded on religious FREEDOM. We cannot allow one religion's beliefs dictate how the entire nation should be run. In the home of the free, muslims, homosexuals, agnostics, we are all American citizens and we deserve to be treated as such. I will NEVER vote for a candidate that doesn't support LGBT rights. This is just like Women's suffrage, African American rights, etc. Getting our rights is inevitable. Are you going to be embarrassed at the end? Or proud that you supported the correct cause!! Not all Christians are against homosexuality, there are 100s of denominations, Stop making yourself and other Christians seem so close-minded and ignorant! If you think we're sinning: Great! Now please keep it to yourself - God will be our judge, it's none of your business. We deserve hospital visitation, adoption, etc. it's been proven we can raise children just as well. Now let us have our well-deserved rights!
