    45th ADB Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors in Manila

    The Philippines hosts the Asian Development Bank (ADB) 45th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors on May 2-5 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC.)

     

    The Annual meeting brings together ministers of finance and development, central bankers, private sector representatives, civil society and media to discuss a broad range of issues linked to ADB’s mission - to reduce poverty.

     

    Some 4000 delegates worldwide are expected to participate in the event.

     

    The Opening Session will take place at the PICC in the morning of Friday, 4 May, and the Business Sessions will be held on 4 and 5 May.

     

    This is a major event for the country, because Manila is also the headquarters of the Bank, and the event will highlight our economy and business opportunities.
