CNN PRODUCER NOTE     NgaamC says the Mitshuide Festival is held annually in honor of the famous samurai warrior Mitsuhide. Hundreds of people participate in the festival, according to NgaamC. The festival includes a lot of samurai reenactments, and many of the people who are involved with the festival are volunteers. NgaamC says one of the highlights of the festival was watching the samurais march through the city of Kamioka, Japan.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

On May 3rd, an annual traditional event, Mitsuhide Festival was held in Kameoka city, Kyoto, in honor of the historically prominent lord, Mitsuhide Akechi.

In this festival, hundreds of samurai-costumed people marched around the old city. Some were dressed in hand-made costumes, and some were children, and the event's coolest main role, Mitsuhide was on white horse.
