    Rakhi Sawant's "Dirty" Hopes

Playing the role of a sex-bomb is never something Rakhi Sawant will give up on, and with the success of The Dirty Picture, Rakhi was confident that the role of Silk Smitha essayed by Vidya Balan in the Bollywood version will only be enhanced by Rakhi herself in the Bengali version.

"Vidya has played a character representing our community (item girls) and when an original item girl gets to play the tole, it ought to look real and jaw-dropping. I will definitely beat Vidya on this. I am pretty excited to do bold scenes, bed scenes and the movie will also have long smooches," says the Queen of Item numbers. With such aspirations in mind, how has Balaji Telefilms taken to the role?

Evidently, no one is pleased at the Balaji end. Tanuj Garg, CEO has been quoted saying, "Rakhi Sawant says she will do better than Balan in the Bengali remake of The Dirty Picture. Sure. And pigs will fly." With the sarcasm headed Rakhi's way, we only wonder if the legal proceedings by Balaji Telefilms to protect their film and its content will allow Rakhi to fulfill her 'Dirty' dreams.

Incidentally, Pakistan's favourite controversy-dame Veena Malik has been roped in to play Smitha in the Kannada version of the movie.
