Protesting the GOP convention |
How do you win an Occupation Mr McCain?
Mr McCain & McCain Supporters. Can you tell me how you propose to win an occupation? Can you let me know how your plan to end the Iraq War?
Senator Obama's call to action - that he speaks of publicly at the DNC, publicly to all citizens across america and publicly on TV talks about winding down, troop withdrawl, strategic placement and bringing our men and women home.
When you spoke at the RNC you said you would never give up the fight and win the war. Didn't GWB Announce that the job was completed?
When did you change your mind about the war? IN town-hall meetings with your direct constituents you made comments about 50 or 100 years of war, you made comments about more wars, you made comments about asking more of our children to fight.
Mr McCain - what are we fighting for under your vision of America?
“Here is the truth: fighting a war without end
will not force the Iraqis to take responsibility for their own future.
And fighting in a war without end will not make the American people
safer.
So when I am Commander-in-Chief, I will set a new goal
on day one: I will end this war. Not because politics compels it. Not
because our troops cannot bear the burden- as heavy as it is. But
because it is the right thing to do for our national security, and it
will ultimately make us safer.”
—Barack Obama, Clinton, Fayetteville, North Carolina, March 19, 2008
McCain can talk the talk, but can he walk the walk? Do you suggest we can take care of the welfare of occupied nations but not take care of our own?
* Please explain mr McCain*
