    Skyler Gets The Boot On Idol

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     TheVideoMan sent in a video of his wife and neighbor reacting in shock at the latest Idol departure. "We were really upset that Skylar was kicked off," he says. He says with the departure of Skylar now he does not see a clear winner for Idol. "Overall this year, the top five contestants are all really good. But if we are talking about the show, it is not as strong as last year and the artists to us are not really people you can latch onto this year," he says.

    In a little bit of a shocker, country crooner Skyler Laine was sent home packing tonight on FOX's singing competition 'American Idol'.

     

    Joining her in the bottom two was contestant Hollie Cavanagh, we guess there were more British voters than country fans?

     

    Carrie Underwood and Coldplay performed, loved 'Play, did not like Carrie's cross over pop tune 'Blown Away', the title track of her new CD.

     

    Four contestants remain on "Idol" heading toward the show's finale later this month. Who do you think will be in the top 3?
