The Old Buildings of Downtown Auckland
Let me take you on a trip to downtown Auckland along its most famous path called Queen Street.
Here you will find well preserved buildings that are either over or close to a 100 years old. Untouched by world wars (for none reached New Zealand) nor major conflicts - these grand monuments are testament to the architectural geniuses of yore. They stand side by side with modern edifices - able to hold their candle and even make the new ones look out of fashion.
There are many more of these kinds of structures in Auckland. One iReport submission isn't enough.
