    VictorValley College Grenade Scare

    Victorville, CA • On the morning of Thursday May 3rd, 2012 San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department closed down portions of Victor Valley College's lower campus and Spring Valley Lake's golf course for approximately two hours. The closure was because a man dropped off a grenade at the Spring Valley Lake fire station for disposal. Officials claim the man was cleaning out his garage when he came across the grenade. San Bernardino County Sheriff's Arson and Bomb officials inspected and rendered the device safe. Fire stations advise people to call 911 if items like this are found or obtained.
