    Child care cuts in Illinois threaten the ability for thousands of low income families' Jobs

    Please please do a segment on the child care cuts in Illinois. My sister is a single mom and a daycare provider in Quincy illinois. The majority of her parents rely on state assistance to pay thier daycare.In the last year the state has been inconsistant with payments to her and now has announced that because of budget cuts mor than 40,000 daycare providers will not be getting paid until july, and more than 85,000 low income parents will be forced to quit thier jobs because they can't afford daycare. This is not just a problem for Illinois because it could happen all over the country if other states follow suit. here is a link to the healthcare unions story on this crisis.
