CNN PRODUCER NOTE     AlRivera has covered Occupy Wall Street since September and he says the march on May Day, May 01, 2012, was one of the biggest OWS marches he has ever seen. 'You looked down both sides and there was no end to it,' he says. He says it seemed like there were a lot of new groups and organizations that joined the May Day march in Union Square. He says emotions were also running high during the day of the protest. 'When I first got to Union Square it was a bit festive, but very politically charged. But it got pretty angry when protesters were going to set out to march and the police put up large barricades,' he says. After the barricades were erected protesters started chanting, saying they had the right to march, according to AlRivera. 'It came to the point where I thought something was going to erupt, but luckily that didn't happen,' he says.
