    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     thorea02 says she wanted to test out her camera last night just to get the settings right to capture the 'super moon' on May 05, 2012. She says what intrigues her about the 'super moon' is its natural beauty. 'I love nature,' she says. 'We live on the lake and I love taking photos of the sunset, so anything that is that beautiful, that natural and prominent is great to see. The super moon is a natural phenomenon, and that is what is so awesome about it.'

    I took this at about 7:30pm on 5.4.12 - definitely a big, bright moon! Hope to get a good comparison shot tonight.
