    British Navy visiting Iceland today

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ander says the British Royal Navy visited Reykjavik, Iceland. 'It is always great to see the British Royal Navy,' he says. 'The crew was very friendly, and today they had a Rugby football match with the natives Icelanders.' He says despite their historical differences such as the Cod Wars where England and Iceland had a series of confrontations in regards to fishing rights between the years of 1950s to 1970s, the two countries seem to be friendly with one another now.

    Hms St. Albans is now in Reykjavik.
    It is a Royal Navy boat, and is her celebrating the anniversary ,that iti is 70 years ago , that the Convoys during world war two ,went to Murmansk.
    During the war, ship convoys met in Iceland , and then went to Russia.
    I took a few photos today of the boat,and it is always great to see military boats in Reykjavik.
    And as you can see , the weather was great .
