Mainers in downtown Portland headed outside for dinner so they wouldn't miss the super moon. It finally appeared over the buildings around 8:30 PM.
The owner of a hair salon (Toni's Touch) celebrated her birthday with a neighborhood sidewalk barbecue. Darius is on the grill.
Another man in Portland, Maine heads towards Otto's Pizza while the supermoon looms overhead. (I hope he got a slice of squash and cranberry pizza. It's just awesome.)
