It's Official! Barack Obama Seeks 2nd Term as Prez
Lest there was any doubt in anyone's mind, President Barack Obama officially kicked off his campaign for a 2nd term with two rallies today. The President held the first in Ohio before concluding his announcement in Virgiania that he wants the chance to complete the work he has started in his first term.
It was not without a lot of strategic thought that the President chose Ohio and Virginia for his official declaration. Both states are crucial battleground states and must wins if Obama hopes to keep the keys to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Of course many of the President's opponents claim that he has never stopped running and campaigning since day one of his presidency. There has even been charges that some of his "official" rallies lately were actually campaigning.
For all those that somehow have not heard the news or are wearing blinders, there is no doubt about it. Barack Obama wants you to vote for him on November 8.
From the Cornfield, it is 6 months before Americans decide the fate of the President.
Will the summer months prove to be a boon or a bust for the President?
