CNN PRODUCER NOTE     EWillies1961 says the Houston 2012 walk for Lupus had a jovial atmosphere. He says everyone was extremely friendly. 'I had no problem finding people to talk about Lupus and how they are coping with it,' he says. He says while talking to people he noticed a lot of general concern over the potential repeal of the Affordable Care Act, which he examples would impact someone with Lupus, which is a chronic disease and considered a permanent pre-existing condition. He says these matters concern him because of his own personal connection with the disease, his wife has been living with Lupus for the last 20 years. 'The games being played with this issue disproportionately affect women with Lupus, which is a great stress. Unfortunately stress is one of the triggers that cause the disease to flare and go into overdrive, he says.
