CNN PRODUCER NOTE raygduncan is currently vacationing in Paris, France. He says when news broke of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy's concession a celebratory note seemed to grab hold of the city. People were waving flags and honking their horns while police vans whizzed by, flashing their blue lights. He also says those who supported the former president remained relatively civil as they protested against the other party’s win. He says the new President François Hollande will have a tough road ahead, 'winning the election will not magically fix the economic problems, and tensions with the German government are bound to rise over fiscal policy.' But overall he says for today people seemed relieved and enthusiastic about the election's outcome.
