My mother gave herself
The only "kids" my brothers and I have are our pets, cats and dogs. All our lives we gave our mother the usual gifts for mothers day, things we made and when we got older, things we bought. But this time, the best gift is what our mother has given herself (along with our dad). She is graduating from college, at the age of 78 with a Bachelor's in Theater. They were interviewed by the local news:

My brothers, myself and our dad (whose 82 and getting his third degree), can't top this gift to our mother. We three think our parents are the coolest parents.
