    The Headline & The Byline

     
    Mr Obama 's headline is that he supports gay marriage. But the critical byline is that he believes the states should decide who can get married. He isn't talking about federal recognition of gay marriage so what has changed? DOMA is still the law of the land. Mr Obama hasn't called for it be rescinded by Congress.
