    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     AllyDeSantis shared her thoughts on the recent statewide same-sex marriage ban in North Carolina, and the subsequent announcement of support for marriage equality by President Obama. 'I think that, similar to women's rights or the [civil rights] movement, if the federal government doesn't step in we may end up being left with 50 separate countries rather then the United States,' she said.

    I was born in your "normal" catholic family, mom, dad, 2.5 kids, the dog and the cozy home. However, if there is one thing I will always remember from my youth its to be ACCEPTING of EVERYONE. I was born and raised in as the messed up society see's as normal, and you know what i turned out to be as screwed up as the next person. So what gives some no-humanizing religious and politic-based agenda ruin what we all CAME here yes I said came here (unless your from native american or mexician background) you ALL can trace your roots else-where, decide what is or isn't allowed to be considered TRUE Individualism that right should never be deigned to ANYONE PERIOD.
