American Idol: California Dreamin' Ends It's Hollie Home!
In a word, it's 'Hollie Home'. And we are not talking about the VIP Idol treatment in her home town next week. Tonight was the end of the line for Ms Cavanagh.
The little 'Brit' girl was a genuine surprise to make it this far in this season's 11 of Fox's singing competition. Her first song last night was not bad - but she blew it big time on her follow up, Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me".
This song happens to be the first tune Roberta and I danced to on the night we met 20 years ago. As they say, Hollie chose the wrong song. Now she pays the piper...
David Cook and Judge Jennifer Lopez performed. Loved David's new single - it might be his best yet. JLo still tries to act and sing like she is 20 - with her 29 year old boyfriend / dancer Casper working her lol on her night club number.
So its on to next week for the semis with Joshua, Jessica, and Phillip.
My bet is still a final of Joshua and Jessica.
Special guest star tonight on our review: Porsche!
