    Communist March in Rome, Italy

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     clickingnews is currently vacationing in Rome, Italy. On May 12, 2012 a group from the Italian Community Party marched through the streets of Rome. He says the group seemed to have more than a thousand people. He captured photos of the marching from his hotel room. He says while taking photos he noticed that marchers were spraying what looked to be fireworks into the air. 'The march appeared to be well controlled. There were police and ambulances trailing the march, and there were even street cleaners that cleaned up at the end,’ he says. ‘The marches appeared happy and peaceful and a few even waved for us to join them,' he says.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Along Via Cavour in Rome Italy thousands of communist supporters marched the streets. They held banners, chanted and had drummers. Overhead police helicopters patrolled from the sky.
