This iReport is part of an assignment:
Are you just like your mom? |
I'm like I wish my mother could have been
Senator Obama has nothing on this lady! I'm for pro life with good reason, my biological mother tried to kill me once before birth and once during birth, then she tried to adopt me out and lied about the whole thing. I am like my mother in the fact I am strong of will but unlike her I put mine to better use helping other people and helping out my community. I am stubborn in that I won't let many people just walk all over me and I don't give up easily in that if someone has a need I do everything in my power to help them get it taken care of. I resemble my biological mother in looks and unfortunately I have had the same poor judgement in men but not as many and no children without being married to their father's unlike her. I do smoke like her but I'm not an alcoholic like her nor do I ever want to be either. Although she would tell everyone we are nothing a like in any way we are more a like than she wants to realize, just I use my gifts differently and for better reasons. But if she had killed me My five children wouldn't be alive today. Although I only have custody of 2 they are young adults and doing very well. My oldest is a Lic. Pastor but is also working teaching pre-schoolers and attending on line college to become a full on nurse. My son whom the doctors said would never be able to work is holding a job as a grill cook in a fast food place. I have great faith that my other three children will have exellent lives as they grow. They were always smart and I always told them that the best thing they could ever do was to get a good education and go to college. I think at least two out of the three will remember my words. As for me I'm waiting for the economy to get better so my business will take off and thrive. Something else no one in my family ever did, start their own business.
