I recently turned 27, and i myself am a parent. My mother is in my home county, in Zimbabwe, but i cherish her everyday of my life, because she is the best mother, a young woman could ever ask for. She was widowed when i was just turned 18, but there is not one day we went without food, or without anything. Mom, you are the hardest working woman i know. She would wear the same clothes to work, till they had tears in them. She wore the same pair of shoes, till it had holes in it. Just so had 5 children would have food on the table. Mom, you taught me what it means to be a mother. To sacrifice everything, so your children would not see how tough life was. But i saw it...all the pain you went through, having to try to provide for us...your not having any 'special clothes'...all your tears, when there was just not enough...all your frustrations, i saw it all. And today, as i write this, i am living your life...well, almost. I know what it is to sacrifice to try and create a better life for your child. I never understood your tears, and today, i finally get it mom. You are special because you taught me what it means to be a woman, and mother. Happy Mother's Day Mom...or as we call you, Sister Bee
