CNN PRODUCER NOTE xtrmbikr10 uploaded this iReport on behalf of his friend, Evan. Evan is currently sitting outside terminal B at Baltimore's BWI airport after some pepper spray was allegedly released into the security checkpoint area, according to Evan. He says he was standing by someone who at first noticed a strong odor in the terminal and soon after airport personnel started evacuating what Evan estimated as more than a thousand people from terminals A and B. He says the evacuation started around nine in the morning, and passengers are still waiting to be let back into terminal B. He says the airport is holding planes for the passengers and that some planes have landed but they are not releasing those passengers into the airport just yet. He says he is not sure if the pepper spray was released by accident or because of security reasons, and he also does not know how long the wait time is going to be before he can catch his flight.
