    Gladiator Fire Sunset

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     WrldTrvld shot this photo the evening of May 14 of the hazy-red sunset in Scottsdale, Arizona, caused by a nearby wildfire. 'Arizona has been experiencing unusually dry winters the past few years,' he said. 'Residents are concerned because both the Gladiator and Sunflower fires are just the prequel to what we should be expecting this fire season. Arizona currently has 5 fires burning; as temperatures continue to rise, and with humidity in the single digits, we've turned into quite a tinderbox!'

    Smoke from the Gladiator Fire in Crown King, Arizona. The smoke created a Redish-Orange mars like sky 85mi. South of the fire in Phoenix. Shot was taken over Black Mountain (actual name) reflecting onto the Arizona Canal.
